Linda McLean - William Street Cafe, Chatham

Chatam Times, November 2005

The Rolling Roots Revue rolled into Chatham on Friday night as Bill Culp, Linda McLean and David Celia entertained at the William Street Cafe, performing mainly original tunes that each had written, but mixing in a bit of Buddy Holly and Neil Young with good results. McLean writes beautiful tunes and has an angelic voice. She is a true throwback to a bygone era of female folksingers, thin clear voices and an honest, big guitar sound. It makes you realize just how much talent is really out there.
